Tourist & Visitor Tickets

There are many tickets that will help you get around to see the sights in Sydney.

Sydney and Bondi Explorer

The popular Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer tourist buses can get you around all Sydney’s top sights. Tickets include travel on both Explorer buses, which allow you to hop and off as much as you like or stay onboard for the commentary.

SydneyPass

A great value SydneyPass ticket combines travel on the Sydney & Bondi Explorers, Airport Link train and travel on regular bus, train and ferry services. Tickets are available as a 3, 5 or 7 day pass and can be used over an 8-day period.

DayTripper Ticket

The popular value-for-money DayTripper ticket provides unlimited travel until 4am on:

  • All regular Sydney Buses services
  • All regular Sydney Ferries services
  • All CityRail services in the suburban area.

You can hop on and off as many times as you like with this ticket and can travel all around Sydney as far as Palm Beach in the north to Emu Plains in the West and Cronulla in the South.

BusTripper Ticket

This ticket allows unlimited travel on all regular Sydney Buses services until 4am.

This ticket is only available from a limited number of Sydney Buses Ticket Agents

Limitations

  • DayTripper & BusTripper tickets are not valid on premium services (including Explorer buses, special event buses & Manly JetCats) and a station access fee applies for Mascot, Green Square, Domestic and International Airport train stations.
  • Travel is permitted on Manly JetCats when the Manly Ferry is not operating (see Manly Timetable for relevant services).
  • The CityRail suburban area is bounded by these stations:
    • Cowan
    • Emu Plains
    • Richmond
    • Carlingford
    • Macarthur
    • Cronulla
    • Otford
    • Bondi
  • Tickets become active when first used, except those purchased from CityRail and Sydney Ferries outlets which are active upon purchase.
