Safety Graduate Program
As a Safety Graduate, your rotations will be primarily based in the corporate environment working closely with the Safety Team. Supporting this, you will have the opportunity to be placed in our Bus Depot’s working closely with an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator.
The Safety placement schedule will provide you with greater insight and exposure to the Safety operations and procedures of Sydney Buses, with the aim to expand your knowledge and skills in this area.
Safety Placement Schedule
The Safety Graduate Program is a two-year program that consists of up to four placements to build your skills and experience.
The Safety Graduate Program may provide you with opportunities in:
- project management
- safety management and system documentation
- risk management
- road safety and OH&S data analysis
- risk assessments
- workplace inspections
- incident investigations
- rehab/return to work management
Relevant University Degrees
If you have recently completed a degree (or expect to complete a degree at the end of 2008) in any of the following, or similar, broad range of disciplines, then the Transport Planning Graduate Program will be suitable for you:
- Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety
- Bachelor of Applied Science
